Why does school have to be so darn expensive?

Tuition: $1735.
Rent: $979
Food: Roughly $400.
Books: Around $300.

Grand total: Roughly $3400.
Projected amount of money I'll have in savings come April: $2500. Maybe.

I hate being an adult. Everything costs too much.
