Sheldon.

Brace yourselves. This post includes LOTS of pictures taken by my brand new Canon EOS Rebel T3 (whose name is Sheldon).

 I caught Caitlyn laughing. Huzzah.
And her punching herself. Double huzzah.
Mom strategizing for Black Thursday/Friday sales. *side note* it is absolutely ridiculous that sales have now encroached upon the Thanksgiving holiday itself.
I caught her laughing again. And a very creepy face provided by my brother.
My aunt Tamara, dad, Caitlyn, and Mike playing Skip-Bo with Grandma Becky and cousin Memphis observing.
Cousin-in-law to be, Evan, wearing my aunt's hat.
Look at all that pie. I personally consumed 95% of the pie on the left. Not all in one night.
Laura fell asleep after a fun day of playing with lots of cousins.
This drop of water was on the tablecloth, and when we looked at it, we saw a face. So, naturally, I took a picture of it.
 Thanksgiving leftovers. YUM.
I finished this book Friday morning.
And finished this book Friday night.
 Laura "planking" on some chairs.
 Turkey noodle soup!
 Caitlyn and I before church.
 Laura spinning.
Gargantuan egg one of our chickens laid. When we cracked it open, there were two yolks. The chicken that laid this egg recently laid another one just like it. As my mom says, "That poor hen!"
My brother's insanely purple tongue after consuming one of the "Silver Rush" shakes our local Arctic Circle was selling.
Caitlyn before her piano performance at the Festival of Trees.
 BYU tree. Heck yeah.
Elvis tree. (I posted this just for you, Nancy!)
 An upside down tree.
One of the pictures that was for sale.
 Another picture for sale.
And another one. I really like this one. :)
Whoever can find the thing wrong with this picture gets 10 Kelsi Points.
 Christus statue on Temple Square.
 Salt Lake Temple.
"Holiness to the Lord" quote that is found on every temple.
 Salt Lake Temple.
Salt Lake Temple with special Christmas figures in the Reflection Pool.
 Cousin's wedding cake.
Aunt Shari (left), Mom (middle), Aunt Sharlee (right).
 Caitlyn and Laura.
Caitlyn with the bride and groom, Erin and Evan.
 Funny faces.
 Caitlyn and Grandma.
Mom and dad in front of a tree at the reception center.
Aunt Tamara and cousin Erin. Tamara did Erin's flowers (and I hope she'll be able to do mine one day!)
 Cutting the cake.
 Eating said cake.

 Evan and his mom dancing.
Erin and Uncle Nathan (her dad) dancing.
Erin and Evan dancing their first dance. Ignore their professional photographer in the background.

Evan's parents on the left, Evan and Erin in the middle, Erin's parents on the right.
A picture they had displayed. SO CUTE.
I got Laura a Barbie for Christmas.
 And a Barbie Convertible.
 Megan got boots from Laura.
Caitlyn was having issues opening her gift from Megan.
So we got her a knife.

 She got a coat.
Mike got a box from Caitlyn.
 With a jumprope inside.
For some reason he was making really weird faces that night.
 He also got a football.
I got these two movies from Mike. I've never seen the one on the right. But according to my mom, its a good one.
 Caitlyn wearing her new coat.
Our 2011 family picture. Aren't we adorable??
My dad put this blanket up in front of the rest of the stairs so my sister wouldn't be able to peek at the presents Santa brought (like she does every year).

These are just some of the MANY pictures I have taken with Sheldon so far. But they're my favorites (or I just really wanted to share them with you). Have a happy new year!

An update of my life.

WORK.

That's pretty much it. Literally. Don't get me wrong, working is good. I'm saving up money for school (even though the grand total will probably only be enough for one semester), which was the sole purpose of staying home fall semester. But, I do wish I was doing more than just work.

Like hanging out with people.

Going on dates.

Etc.

Unfortunately, all the people I want to hang out with are either at their respective schools or on their missions.

So...yeah. That's pretty much it. I have this entire week off from work, so if any of you readers (who live in Utah) want to hang out, let me know. :)

Family Pictures

My family and I took our annual family pictures this past Wednesday. They're awesome. But I might be biased just a bit.

Last year I was able to save them to my computer from the email my mom was sent. This year...that can't happen. I kind of knew I wasn't going to be able to when the receptionist person started talking about their new CD that you can buy so you can post the pictures on Facebook yourself. My mom and I were all for it...until we heard the price ($150, by the way. Who pays $150 for a stupid CD? Especially when there's only about 20 photos on the whole thing?). So we didn't get the CD and decided to just hope we could save them to our computer anyway. We weren't able to.

So, I decided I would post the link to the online album on here. Guess what. You can only post it on Facebook, or send an email. Rats. The studio has really gone nazi over their pictures this past year.

So. I've decided to propose this. For those of you (all seven regular readers, that is) who don't want to wait to see the pictures, you can post your email address in the comment section, and I will send a link of the album to your email. OR you can go with the alternate option (that is much safer, in my opinion) of waiting until the 20th (I think that's what day they come) and I can scan them into my computer, and THEN post them on here.

Expect the post with the actual pictures on (or around) the 20th!
