Recently I've heard of the "365 Challenge", which is to take a picture EVERY DAY.
I want to try this.
However, I'm going to wait until I finish the current challenge I am working on, which is to write in my journal every day. And I would enjoy having a better camera to do this challenge with (I need to work on saving up).
But I thought I would let everyone know I would be doing this challenge at some point in my life (most likely for the next calendar year).

It's Official.
The more I've thought about it, the more I like the idea. Once the journal I am currently hand-writing (I swear, I'm going to get carpal tunnel) is done (which is in about 40-ish pages), I will, from now on, be typing up my journal entries on a private blog and then getting it published. It just sounds so much easier, yes?
Thanks to Bailee Paxman for giving me the idea :)

Today I...
Woke up at 7:30 to take my brother to football. Bleh. I hate waking up early when it is completely unnecessary. And it doesn't help that my family thinks anything beyond 7:00 is way too late to sleep in. Ugh.
Went out to lunch with the Larson family. Wade (the dad) went to high school with my mom, and Geoff (their son) and I dated a bit. The Larson family was down here in Utah to drop Geoff off at the MTC, so we (we = my mom and I) met up with them for lunch. Its been a year since I saw them, so it was good to see them. :)
Then I went to work. Which was boring. Because it's always boring. But, I'm getting paid some sweet cash, so it's all good (speaking of getting paid, that occurs on Friday! Woo!).
Then I went to Ward Temple Night with my new Singles Ward. First off, let me just say how excited I am to be a part of this ward. I've heard many a great things about it from my friend Bailee, and the two times I've attended, it seems amazing. The bishopric seems really nice and the people also seem really nice. Anyway. Went to Ward Temple Night with them and did baptisms for the dead (probably the last time I'll be able to before I'll need to get a new recommend). I had one of the things I've been sort of stressing out about answered (sort of)...basically, I received an answer, but I still need to work some things out (aka I still need to see if said answer is right for me). The people I was baptized for were from Brazil...I think. They were Spanish-y names, so I'm just going to say they were from South America (I don't look at the cards :\).
After le temple, I came home and ate dinner. While eating dinner, I received a letter from my best friend, Nancy. It basically made my day. I definitely laughed a lot while reading it (and probably looked like an idiot, laughing to myself. Oh well.). I now have...three letters I need to respond to. Actually, I lied. I only have two to write, but three to send.
Then I wrote this. :) Now to go write in my journal about today...
Speaking of journals. My friend Bailee told me of this marvelous idea that I think I'm going to attempt during the next calendar year. She made a (private) blog on here (that NO ONE can read) and uses that as her journal. Then, for Christmas, her parents use this website where you can get your blog hardbound, and give it to her for Christmas. This. Is. Awesome. I'm seriously going to try it for the next calendar year (except buy it myself...assuming the price isn't too high). I think it will be better, because, lets face it: technology is all around us. I'm on my computer multiple times during the day. I do believe I'd write more while typing than I do while physically writing. If I'm assuming correctly, pictures are included in this marvelous book. So it would motivate me to take more pictures. :) Now I just need to figure out what the website is to get your blog hardbound...hey, Bailee! Can you put the website in a comment? Thanks :)
Off to write in my journal. Have a marvelous evening :)

Things That Make My Day
Yesterday, while working at Little Caesars, a customer told me I have pretty eyes. It was random, out of the blue, we weren't even talking (except for me taking her order). She just said 'you have pretty eyes' and then said something else about them, but I couldn't understand her (I think she was Hispanic). It totally made my day :)
Today, I saw Bianca Garcia (a friend from newspaper) for the first time since April. It was really good seeing her :) I also saw Samea Stokes (a friend from sort-of-newspaper and my preschool class in high school). Good to see her as well :D

Thoughts on Day 2 of My Little Caesars Experience
I. Hate. Being. The. Only. Cashier. During. My. Shift. That is all. It is very stressful. However, I'm a pretty fast cashier and can get customers in and out pretty quickly. So its sort of all good.
A customer came in and ordered a pizza. On the boxes, we have a coupon for a free crazy bread. However, customers are not allowed to use the coupon from the box they just bought (they have to use it at their next visit). Most customers are understanding about this. This customer, however, was not. I told the customer this, and he asked "Well, what if I buy another pizza, then use this one?" and I said it doesn't work that way, it has to be at his next visit. He asked "So I wouldn't be able to use it if I walked out the door, came back in and ordered another pizza?" and I said no. During all of this I apologized a couple of times for the inconvenience. As he was leaving, he asked for my name. Right then and there I knew something was up. After I told him my name, he asked for my manager's name and a phone number he could reach said manager at. Knowing what he was going to do the second he walked out the door (call and complain about me), I rang him up for a second pizza and let him use the darn coupon. Can I just say I hate people like that? People who, if they don't get their way, they'll complain? I explained to the guy that I wasn't allowed to do what I ended up doing, and he still wanted to do it anyway. After explaining it again, he decides that he needs to complain about me to my manager. Jerk.
Besides that unfortunate experience with the customer and once again being the only cashier for the night, it was a pretty good day. I have work tomorrow (not there)...yippee.
